Volunteer at our charity shop
Our charity shop in newbold, chesterfield is very short staffed and we are desperate for volunteers. duties will include serving customers, sorting out item donations and pricing, restacking our clothes rails, and generally keeping the place tidy. if you can spare a few hours or even better a day or two, to help us then please contact us using our contact form any offer of help is very much appreciated. we also need help with collections and moving donations locally. if you have a van and a few hours to spare then we need you.
Spread The Word
Please tell all your family, colleagues and friends about us and our dogs. Remember us when thinking of a worthwhile charity to nominate for a fundraising event. The dogs in our care are with us through no fault of their own and have had a bad start in life, we hope to give them a secure and happy future. We can only do this with your help.
We are always happy to accept donations of good quality blankets as many of our dogs chew the blankets through boredom. URGENTLY REQUIRED IN THIS COLD WEATHER!
Fancy organising a fundraiser? There are many ways you can help our funds by doing car boots, coffee mornings, organising sponsored events, charity days with your friends or at your local pub or school. Sponsored walks with your dog pals or even a sponsored slim?.
Sponsor a kennel. We currently pay rent to boarding kennels each month to house our rescue dogs. This is a large drain on our funds and you can arrange to sponsor one of our dogs kennelling for a week, month or year. Just choose which dog you would like to sponsor from our rehoming page and then email us using the contact facility for further details.
Cash donations are always very much appreciated as our vet bills are very high. Why not organise a standing order to guarantee your donation each month? You can make a donation by paypal please see the donation page. Dont forget to let us know if you are a UK Taxpayer as we can claim back this from the Government.
