Very Sad News
It is with much sadness that we have to announce that the founder of Sheffield Dog Rescue, Mavis Goodrich has sadly passed away.
Mavis founded the rescue in 1984, she wanted to help all the stray and abandoned dog that had no home with no one to love them. Over the years the rescue has rehomed thousands of dogs, making sure that they have found a happy forever home.
Mavis will be sadly missed, the rescue is her legacy and we will continue her excellent work.
